Switching providers

You built against their SDK. You shouldn't have to rebuild for ours.

  • Your gateway stays.
  • Your backend stays.
  • Your processing stays.

We don't sit in the middle of your stack

Many SoftPOS platforms route your transactions through their own backend. That makes switching a re-platforming exercise, because their backend is load-bearing in your architecture. Mypinpad routes direct to your existing gateway. What changes is the acceptance layer, not the infrastructure underneath it.

Your gateway stays

Transactions route direct to your existing payment gateway. No new processing relationship, no re-contracting.

Your backend stays

Settlement, reporting and host integrations are untouched. The acceptance layer changes; the infrastructure underneath it does not.

Your processing stays

Your acquiring and processing arrangements are yours. Mypinpad never competes with its customers.

What a switch takes depends on how you built

How much work a switch involves depends on how you built: which SDK you integrated, how deep it sits in your app, what your host and gateway arrangements look like, and how many markets you run. A new SDK integration typically takes four to six weeks with direct-to-customer, MPGS or Cybersource routing; host integrations into your own environment take longer.

What we will do is look at your setup and tell you what it actually takes. If it is more work than it is worth, we will say so.

What you get that you don't have now

You can see what is happening

Every transaction pushed to your systems in real time. A portal your team runs without raising a ticket. Open APIs to build the view your operations team actually needs.

Your merchants keep taking payments

Mypinpad is listed and validated against PCI MPoC v1.1 across all three sub-programmes — including Attestation & Monitoring Services, which permits offline operation. If our backend is unavailable, merchants keep transacting for up to 24 hours, then reconnect and re-attest.

The commitment is contractual

Direct-to-customer deployments carry a contractual 99.99% service level — DTC-GW and D2A-hard, where the decryption key stays on your side. When transactions route direct to your own infrastructure, Mypinpad is not in the critical path for authorisation, which is what makes the higher commitment possible.

Performance, measured and scoped

Median merchant wait time of 1.3 seconds under MPoC, with 80% at 2.6 seconds or less. Merchant wait time measures how long a user waits for the app to respond, excluding the card tap and PIN entry. Total transaction time, including the tap and the full MPoC stack, averages 3 seconds.

And we won't become your competitor

Mypinpad is independent from card schemes, acquirers and hardware vendors. We never compete with our customers. As the market consolidates, that is worth checking about any vendor you are considering, including whoever you are leaving.

Tell us what you have. We'll tell you what it takes.

A scoping conversation, not a sales demo.
