Mypinpad wins Mastercard Engage Excellence Award for Agility in SoftPOS deployment

Mypinpad has been recognised with the Acceptance – Agility Award at the Mastercard Engage Excellence Awards 2025, announced in Miami during the Mastercard LAC Innovation Forum. This accolade celebrates the speed and impact of our Tap on Phone implementation across multiple countries in Central America for our client, Fygaro.

In less than six weeks, we successfully deployed Mypinpad's PCI MPoC-validated Tap on Phone solution, enabling Fygaro to offer secure, contactless card acceptance on Android devices — without the need for additional hardware. By embedding our SDK directly into Fygaro's platform, we delivered a seamless merchant experience while ensuring compliance and security at every step.

This achievement demonstrates what's possible when innovation meets collaboration. Through close coordination between Fygaro's development team and Mypinpad's solution consultants, certification, testing, and launch were completed in record time — far faster than traditional timelines.
