THE ROLE

This newly defined role has been created in order to drive new business opportunities. The role will also respond to an increasing number of enquiries and potential sales for MYPINPAD payment software and solutions.

The Head of Sales, EMEA is a specialist business development and growth role, working at a senior level, presenting complex software solutions to an established, relevant and strong relationship base.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Work with the Sales Director, Worldwide to ensure that the Company’s revenue and gross margin budgetary expectations are reached and or exceeded each quarter
  • Work with the Marketing and PR functions to ensure that our external messaging is optimized and synchronized with our growth and business development effort
  • Manage and qualify sales leads/enquiries within EMEA for MYPINPAD services and solutions in accordance with the Company’s sales & market strategy
  • Post qualification of leads, you will own and develop allocated client relationships to identify opportunities and maximize the mutual benefit from MYPINPAD product and/or service deployment
  • Accurately forecast and be responsible for closing sales contracts in order to meet the Company’s and individual revenue targets
  • Post successful implementation, manage the client relationship becoming the conduit for all commercial and relationship communication
  • Be a market ambassador and champion for the MYPINPAD brand and company.
  • Maintain the Company’s CRM to ensure an accurate single view of all sales related activity
  • Provide accurate, timely and regular revenue forecast as required
  • Develop and maintain strong industry relationships to ensure that you are abreast of industry issues and changes that may affect business growth
  • Work with the Legal & Commercial teams to ensure all contractual commitments are appropriately managed and concluded
  • Comply with and support all Company procedures and policies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven, demonstrable sales/relationship skill and capability in a related payment/software solution sales role
  • Consistently performing to a budget forecast requirement
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills; able to communicate complex software solutions
  • Proven and demonstrable negotiating experience and skills to senior management level
  • Solid understanding of, and current network within, the payments ecosystems
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook
  • Advanced experience with web based sales/CRM tools
  • Determined self-starter with tenacious character that loves change and enjoys a challenge
  • Results driven, proactive & able to work autonomously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating critical thinking, teamwork, innovation and excellence
  • Flexible and change embracing in a rapidly evolving work and market environment
  • Ability to relate to, and work with, a wide variety of stakeholders.
