MYHSM – the First Global PHSM Company to Harness Thales payShield 10k

Global provider of payment hardware security modules will end its support for current payShield 9000 in December 2022

London, 11 September 2019MYHSM Ltd, the global provider of Payment Hardware Security Modules (PHSM) as-a-Service, today announces it will be the first global company to offer a hosted service using Thales payShield 10k HSMs.

The announcement follows the End of Life notice issued by Thales to payShield 9000 current customers, stating many must end the use of current 9000’s and migrate to 10k by 31 December 2022.

MYHSM is leveraging the trend towards cloud-based services and offering services to create innovate solutions for its customers. From testing and Proof of Concept (PoC) to Live In-Service solutions, MYHSM provides a unique offering to a wide spectrum of customers: merchants, acquirers, payment service providers (PSP), payment facilitators (PayFac), and issuers. As this results in simplified operations and reduced operating costs, customers are able to focus on value propositions such as improving the consumer digital payment experience.

London, 13th August 2019: The global provider of Payment Hardware Security Modules (PHSM) as-a-Service, MYHSM Ltd, has partnered with US data security specialists, Prime Factors, to deliver the world’s first secure cloud-based payment solution using Thales payShield 10k.  

Under the agreement, Prime Factors’ Bank Card Security System (BCSS) will expedite customers’ payment application development and integration with MYHSM’s PHSMaaS and hosted HSM services. BCSS provides a multi-platform, high-level API with integrated key management, that simplifies application development and HSM utilization for on-premise or cloud environments, enabling customers to connect with MYHSM’s payments security system for secure, PCI-compliant, cloud-based transactions.

MYHSM strengthens senior team with new CTO

Following last month’s news of the appointment of John Cragg as MYHSM’s new CEO, the company has strengthened its senior team by onboarding Andrew Hodges as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Andrew has over 25 years’ experience as an engineer both in the payments space and beyond. Beginning his career in electronics, designing automotive engine management systems, he soon progressed into the payment software space, developing operating systems at Verifone.
